The mid term holiday starts from the 14th – 21st October. We have lined up many activities for the kids in our Mini Summer Camp Krabi. There is a picnic lunch at the Huai To Waterfall. Also a Science lesson there for some topics that they have covered in the class. We will have many fun activities at the National Park and this park is well kept and it is so beautiful. Unfortunately the kids will not be taking a dip at the waterfall for safety reasons. One of the other afternoon’s we will have a visit to the Mangroove and another afternoon we conduct a baking class by Miss June. Obviously every morning will include an hour’s lesson each of Maths and English, except on the day we will visit the Huai To Waterfall.Sign up soon or visit the school to discuss if you have other ideas for this Mini Summer Camp Krabi. Cost is 4500 Bahts for the Mini Summer Camp.
English
Helping them practice their writing skills is important for those who are not fully capable of writing yet, and it is also important for children who are beginning to read and write. We are still practicing how to write the letters properly as well as familiarizing ourselves with upper and lower case letters. The kids are so wonderful and so eager to practice on their writing. This inspires the teacher more and just want to help them more with their writing. Many students are beginning to fill a sense of achievement that they can write and identify the alphabets.
Math
Having fun while learning numbers is essential so that the children will develop a love of numbers and math. We have done activities like counting with songs and objects and playing with peers which is also important to help develop their skills of socializing with others. The environment is usually so fun as the children are now getting more familiar with the numbers are so eager to answer the question even when its not their turn.
Star of The Week
Our Star of the week went to Bua. Bua has been to the school about a month. We happy to award her this award as she has made so much progress in so short period of time. Now she is able to play with the other kids and is so caring to her class mates. She has learnt to share toys and is also very helpful in the class. Bua truly deserves to be awarded the Star Of The Week
