This week had been an amazing week even with Krabi being effected by the haze. We still did our physical activities and carried out our stretch and keep fit regime. The students had Zumba on Tuesday and we avoided swimming on Thursday as it was outdoor and replaced it with badminton as it was indoors. Students were really getting better with their strokes, hitting harder and keeping the shuttle cock longer in the air.

We will set aside a period during lessons to celebrate this event. You can either wear your outfit and come to school or you can change them just before we start our celebration. We will use our music lessons to plan this activity. The best dressed outfit will stand a chance to win a prize. Its going to be lots of fun!

This week, students have finished learning about the different parts of speech and how to differentiate them in a sentence. Next week they will have a test to test their knowledge. They learned the difference between an adjective and an adverb, when to use conjunctions, and the different types of verbs. Overall, they had a lot of fun with the different hands on activities to help build their knowledge on the different parts of speech.
English Lower
The students struggled to grasp how pronouns and nouns are different, but after a few days and a few different activities, they really understood when to use different types or pronouns. Learning the 3 types of verbs has also been tricky but had a lot of fun with the activity of identifying when it is an action verb versus a linking or helping verb.
All the students in Primary have created an e mail account. They are pretty savvy and are able to log in without any help and check their emails. This week, students were challenged to do artwork using the software paint. They learned how to insert 2d objects, 3d objects, and add text to their artworks. At the end of the class, students surprisingly produced beautiful artworks. They enjoyed their learning about this software, and we will continue this until next week.
