More students are getting back to school after the virus infection. Parents are reminded once again to please not bring your child to school when they have a running nose, cough and a temperature. There are serious symptoms when it occurs along with a fever, cough, and running nose. Your child may be carrying something very contagious and your child must be very ill. Please only bring your child to school when these symptoms no longer show. This will be for the greater good for all the kids, including your child.
Parents are requested to block their diaries for the 8th October 9am for our school Parent Teacher Conference. If you have an item that needs to be discussed which is not covered in the agenda, please e-mail me at sgkrabischool@gmail.com. So that we could add to the agenda and allocated appropriatetime for this to be discussed during our meeting.
For sports we did table tennis and badminton. Swimming was cancelled as there was a virus and some of the kids were still recovering. This is probably our third badminton lesson and you could see that the students really enjoyed this sport. You could also see that they are beginning to play better and beginning to get a hand of this sport. Of course the students discussed during School Assembly if they could have more badminton lesson. Please discuss with your child if they want to have more badminton after school. The school can share badminton equipment and we just need to pay for the badminton hall.
Computer class in this week, we reviewed about parts of the computer and how to use them. The students were fascinated with the mouse and how it can move on the screen . The kids were playing the fishing game for alphabets and sounds . They had so much fun after they got an idea what the game was all about. They enjoyed fishing the correct letters that correspond to the beginning sounds of the pictures presented. Play and learn while at the same time recognizing the letters.
