We used our Music lesson to prepare for Kalavati’s birthday celebration on Friday. We practiced a duet song, a dance presentation, and a birthday song that was accompanied by ukulele that was played by one of our students. A simple presentation makes a happy celebration. It was a beautiful theme for that day for her to remember. Parents of Kalavati also attended the birthday. The kids were treated to some special food to celebrate. The school sends Kalavati birthday wishes and many more birthdays to celebrate.
Robotics was a tough lesson. We had to cramp a 120 minutes lesson into 60 minutes. The kids did it. The scenerio was that we were going to send to the moon a robot that will be able to collect data, move and grab objects around space. This will ease the astronauts task on the moon. Designing robots for moon usage starts on earth and in our robotics lessons at Singapore Genius School Krabi!
For Science Experiments, we made Slime. The process was very simple and straight forward. But instead of using the ready made glue, we used topocia starch power and made our own glue. Like all experiments, we had to do some test. We decided to add dish washing liquid to the our slime. It just got bubbly and not so perfect. Otherwise the students had a great time playing with the slime.
