Please be reminded that the Singapore Genius School Krabi school day starts at 8.45am. It is important for the children to be here before 8.45am as it gives them a chance to settle at the start of the day. They communicate with their peers and organise themselves for the day ahead. During morning registration, important messages are passed on by the Homeroom Teachers.
At 8.45am in Primary the day usually starts with a Thai or Chinese lessons. This is valuable learning time for the children. If children arrive late they are missing out on essential teacher input and may struggle to participate in the lesson effectively as a result.
Singapore Genius School Krabi organized an Animation Workshop wit the kind courtesy of Jee Siang from Malaysia. He introduced basic 2D animation skills using App and create short video. At the end of the lesson the kids were able to
1. Able to create linear motion of movement such as bouncing ball

As we are preparing for their Christmas performance next month, we had a little fun with some pop songs that all the students enjoy singing as a break in between their halloween and christmas performances. This was a great team building exercise and they enjoyed singing some new tunes.
We had a very important discussion about how to handle different scenarios that they might encounter in school. Finally the kids learned that during a conflict, they should stop, think about what the situation is and how both sides feel, try to work out a solution and try it out. Finally they then got to watch a few different scenarios play out and identify which one would be the best outcome. They had fun playing kahoot as different teams to answer the questions correctly.
Again the final round was between Gerrit and Rajpal for the Chess Champion title. The battle gets more intense with every opportunity they get for this duel. All break times, right down to the last afternoon break for this coveted title, is aggressively fought. Finally the score was settled with Rajpal when he took the prestigious title as the Chess Champion Of The Week. The kids were treat to watch a game on chess on facebook during our school Assembly, where a little boy took on a Grand Master and won. Here is the link.
